11th Sep 2020
Turmeric has amazing medicinal properties. It is anti-inflammatory and provides immunity support. And I should know as daily intake of turmeric with black pepper has literally eliminated my arthritis pain on my hips. Of course, always talk to your doctor first before making any decisions for yourself. But, it has worked for me. And I definitely notice the difference when I go a few days without my turmeric, the pain always comes back.
This recipe is great to make on a Sunday. You can make a large batch on a Sunday to eat these up during the week as a quick breakfast or afternoon snack. It is packed with:
- Bhoomi Chai 5 Spice Golden Turmeric blend which contains Alleppey Turmeric mixed with cardamom, cinnamon, fennel and black pepper. Alleppey Turmeric has a high curcumin content. Curcumin is the compound in turmeric that provides the medicinal benefits.
- Oats that are heart healthy and provide an energy boost. It breaks down slowly and that means it’s energy that will last.
- Nut Butters for protein
- Nutrient Dense superfoods like Chia or Flax or Hemp Seeds
Best of all, you can store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
